Project Description:
5021 Lakeland Rd is a property in College Park's Lakeland neighborhood which was destroyed and abandoned in a 2022 storm. The current team is working to redevelop the site into an affordable housing unit which aligns with the City of College Park's plans of restorative justice. This involves significant research into the property's history, the creation of complete plan sets for multiple design concepts, and a series of community engagement meetings, working with the public towards the betterment and revitalization of their historic neighborhood.
