Project Description:
Ms. J’s bedside workstation redesign project is an innovative initiative aimed at enhancing the living and working conditions of Ms. J, a client with specific needs due to generalized weakness and low vision. This project is not only tailored to Ms. J’s individual requirements but also addresses a broader audience of clients with similar conditions seeking improved accessibility and functionality in their bedroom workspace. The project is in collaboration with the Volunteers for Medical Engineering (VME) organization and draws inspiration from an initial design developed by a group of students from Johns Hopkins University in 2006.
