
Project Description:
This project focuses on a performance-based fire protection and evacuation strategy for the BWI Airport AB Connector to ensure safe occupant evacuation without disruption of airport operations. This must address fire hazards, security, and code compliance. The final design includes separating the AB Connector into zones by fire curtains. Occupant egress is modeled using Pathfinder and fire growth and behavior is simulated using PyroSim.
