Project Description:
When power lines are replaced after severe weather situations, oftentimes the diameters are not considered or recorded. When loads need to be known in the future, the lines must be de-energized, and crews must be sent out in bucket trucks to record these measurements. To prevent this dangerous work, a drone is to be used as a replacement in assisting with measurement of live power lines.
