Project Description:

This project covers the process taken to design a twin engined aircraft whose purpose details the transportation of up to 1,200 lbs of mail and packages in custom containers over a distance of 500 miles. The containers must be able to fit into a single Ford F-150 in addition to the aircraft cargo section and must be movable by humans without additional assistance. Our aircraft must comply with FAA requirements, which includes cruising altitude, maximum operational ceilings, and altitudes our aircraft can takeoff and land from. Finaly, our aircraft must complete its mission profile in no more than 4 hours, which includes, climb, cruise, descent, and 15 minutes of reserved fuel for loiter.
