Project Description:
Our project involves creating a system to make climbing more accessible to visually impaired individuals. Currently, those with a visual impairment often require a caller on the ground to call out commands on how the climber should move. Our system replaces the role of the call by sensing where a hold is relative to the climber and providing haptic feedback to the climber based on how far each limb is to a hold.
